The first thing we thought when we decided to make a game is that it shouldn't be much harder than playing them... Well, we realized that the missions are a bit harder to achieve when you go from player to developer. Everything starts with the basic idea of a simple story, then we define a theme and begin to think about the mechanics.
Then we must decide about the overall look, characters, scenarios, rhythm and all the features the game would have. That's where things go a bit complex because it's necessary to engage all these aspects and make them work all together. But... How?

We realized, at that moment, that we need more than just ideas or concepts and focus on Game Design. Game design refers about all the aspects envolved on the creation process, how we want the game flows, the difficulty, scoring, interface, rules, mechanics, enemies, challenging and all the tasks the player will perform.
Game design is a very interesting field to explore, and we started with these references that we share with you:
